How do I become a member?

Do you take a commission?
| No. We are not an agency. You join by your membership fee annually unless otherwise specified. @ |
What previous experience do I need to join?
| None or heaps, it doesn’t matter. If you have no previous experience and would like to be considered to do extra work, well you’ve just begun. If you aspire to be a model,,,, you just need ‘the look’ baby. And if you are a budding film director, and a job comes up to be a gofer for a Warner movie and you have some history in that area… you have a better chance with us. It’s all relative. |
How Can Seemeonline help get me exposure?
We act as a giant database of Talent that the Corporate Client is seeking. We put you in touch with the work being sought. So, though we are not an agency, we make it simple and cost effective for agencies of all sorts to find you. We are like a directory of People, Animals, Locations, Things, Talent and much more. Simply, the easiest way for them to find you.
You also have access to our notice boards (when the Corporates, Producers, Directors, Casting agents, agents, etc post specific work to the general population of talent of Seemeonline) so you can submit yourself for work this way as well.
You have the ability to update yourself as many times as you desire. Which is important, because you change and so your portfolio and resume needs to reflect this? You are in control of your destiny with Seemeonline.
Seemeonline also has a sequence of ‘members of the day’ exposure. Where anyone that hits our site, whether for work or to join, will randomly SEE chosen current members on rotation. The possibilities are endless!
Email alerts for all work. And when a corporate entity has requested you to view or has chosen your resume for their job, you are email alerted also. Seemeonline keeps you updated of the hits from corporates so you know what is going on.

Why should I put my portfolio on line?
To get you work in the Creative industries of acting, modeling, extras, stage, TV, Radio, media, multimedia…the list goes on.
To give you greater EXPOSURE to the Marketplace…and with all good intent, to get more Work. Ya gotta start somewhere!
Remember we are not an agency, we give the Corporate Clients you online and they contact you directly via the net. SO then it’s up to you. |
Is Seemeonline an Agency?
| No, we are the software program that puts you in touch with the Corporate Clients to get you work. It’s our business technology that drives the site. |
| If you don’t have professional photos use the best ones you have and seek out a good photographer that is reasonable in price or get your best friend to take some shots, it’s up to you. You can always Update your photos @ will. What do you want to present? That’s the question. |
What if I already have an agent?
GREAT! It’s your responsibility to behave as your contract requires with your agent. We are not an agency….. We are another avenue for you to SHOW yourself to the Corporates. And a very powerful one at that.
Remember it is the corporate creative industries that give you work. |
What do I do when I am contacted?
When you are contacted by email from the Creative Corporate client, they will let you know what they want from you. Say a ‘promo job’ in a bar or ‘Indie girl audition’ or ‘walk on’ role on neighbours… they will let you know. (You’ve already been short listed or just smack bang got the job) the Corporate client has seen what they needed on the net and its cutting time for them and you!
You will bring to the audition your self and relevant hard copy folio and resume and do the best you can. You got chosen to do an audition right....yeah!!!

How do I get the best results from my Portfolio pages?
Your portfolio showcases You. So, for the best results…..keep it updated regularly, new photos, info, voice grabs, MP3 reels, put focus onto your portfolio. The responsibility and control is yours to make the portfolio/resume the best you can.
When you get a hit by the Corporate clients you need to SHOW YOU OFF!
Log on regularly and look for Corporate alerts.
Show people how you look on Seemeonline.
Ask, what can I do to make my Presentation better?
If they are not with you, give people the Seemeonline web address to see the mock up demo pages. Then they can give you better ideas on presenting you.

| This is a term used for ‘Talent’ who want to appear in a TV show, Commercial, extra work, anything like that. It’s where you take your shots (head and body) plus self and Resume/Folio to the casting. Remember the Corporates will contact you, via email, to tell you what they want. |

How old do I have to be to become a member?

Are there any Incentives on Seemeonline?
| YES. For every new member you sign, you receive to your nominated account, a $55.00 GST inclusive commission to thank you for your recommendation. We also provide all the marketing tools to assist you when speaking to your friends. Also we give you the ability to email your friends with the pre-prepared marketing that includes your membership number. So, when they sign up, you will receive your fee ($55.00) for sharing. If you would like to share this with your friends that’s great! There is no obligation this is just an incentive. |

What searching ability do we have to find independent members?
You will be able to conduct searches yourself for specific needs. There is an advanced search for breaking down the EG: 501 results to the 10 you need.
Placing ads for specific jobs and members will respond to these ads online.
You can type in any criteria that you want….its all key worded. |
How reliable are the members at Seemeonline?
We act upon all Feedback that we are given. If a member behaves irresponsibly in 3 successive feedbacks, they will be suspended.
You will find that when a member is willing to pay for a membership they are serious about getting work. |
What rates do Seemeonline members charge?
We advise all members to join their respective unions for their basic rate. The more experienced the member, the more negotiation is required.
We are not an agency and all negotiation is between the member and your company.
We at Seemeonline do not charge any Commissions at all. |
What skills do Seemeonline members have?
Members will list all of their skills and talents on their resumes and this is accessible via keyword searches.
You will be able to see member’s history when viewing the portfolios. Members are encouraged to update their information regularly and before you buy a resume, there is enough in your qualification search to ascertain their abilities. You also have enough preliminary data on your requests before you buy the resume and have contact with them. |
Do we have to use the Seemeonline site to rebook a member?
| Not necessarily. When you request a portfolio, you receive via email, their complete Biography including work history, resume & contact details. |
If we don’t want to search your database what other methods do we have in finding a member at Seemeonline?
You have the ability to run unlimited ads for any type of work fulfillment that you need.
Once a Corporate member of Seemeonline, all you need to do is place an advertisement for the type of work on offer, which may include: rate of pay, time, date, location and experience and availability. Then the members that fit that description and are available will email their interest to you, then you choose the resume you want to buy and contact is given. It’s that simple! |

Are Creative Corporates screened for credibility ?
| Yes most definitely. We have a tiered screening system to ensure the safety of our members. And Corporate entities are manually approved in our system. None of us has a crystal ball but we would like to think that if any unfair business is entered into, we at Seemeonline have the availability to contact the misappropriated parties involved and act accordingly with the Law. e are not an agency; we are a super, super market of “Talent” from all walks of life. Like the Warehouse of connections to get you seen. |
What about our children's privacy?
Why should we use Seemeonline?
No commissions to agents or managers.
No contracts to bind you to said agents/managers.

Seemeonline is an easy to use application for you to promote your child/twin, etc.
You have control of content and no-one can see your children’s photos unless they are a corporate (who has asked for their resume) or the child is randomly chosen by the system to be showcased on the home page (in which case you are notified 24 hours in advance of this showcase which is one photo only). Again no contact is given without authorization.
Corporate members negotiate directly with you.
We are not an agency but we are the business system to put your child in touch with the Creative industries safely and securely.

How do we know that our children will not be contracted by a scam artist?
All corporate members that have access to your portfolios have agreed to our Terms and Conditions . They also have provided ABN numbers, Which are manually entered, receive direct ID mail certification from Seemeonline that must be used to log in and activate their membership. And, this is all kept on file so that in the event of any misconduct, we are able to ID them. We also encourage all feedback from you, our member. If we receive consecutive negative feedback we will suspend guilty parties from our databanks and cease transmissions with the said corporate.
In the event of extreme misconduct we will supply the Law Enforcement agencies all relevant information. |
What chance do our children have of getting work?
Knowing the Creative industries are competitive, with many agencies vying for work in acting, fashion, promotion, music etc, you will have your ups and downs. Where an agency is focused on one area of expertise with many overheads and commissions to carry over ‘talent’, we don’t. That’s why our field of expertise is everyone and everything. The Corporate uses Seemeonline because it is easier and they have a choice of a huge databank of “talent” in all sorts of fields. And your chances of getting work are far greater if you are with Seemeonline than if you are competing all by your self. Remember, the corporate comes to us.
There are no guarantees for getting work but we just don’t concentrate on one field. We have Freelance Agents on the road who are approaching individual shops and companies that all fall into the corporate member category. Your main concern is providing the best “image” and information of your children/Talent and the system does the rest. You are updated monthly with Seemeonline individualized newsletter accounting for hits to your file that corporates have inquired on, have chosen( but may have not contacted you) and chosen and contact been made. We keep a log of your “stats” so to speak and then you are informed. |
What if my children get work and that’s in New Zealand?
That’s great! Get your passports in order.
Seemeonline is an Australian Company and Product, however with the internet being global and companies shooting in Australia & around the world, the world is your oyster. |
How do we know who is in contact with my child?
| Only the Corporate sector that has been screened. |
What type of work is on offer?

Who are my child’s images available to?
Only corporate clients who have searched the Site for a particular need.
Member of the day, on the home page, means your child’s main photo will be the only one shown. |
Who has access to my child’s images?
Only Corporate Clients that request their resumes. No request, no image. We have a Privacy Policy and Security Policy to protect all our members on the site, plus we have encryption to prevent images being stolen by others.

My child has been contacted for work, what do I do?
Find out the details of the job. You are in control of your child’s future. Make a decision, if you would like your child to work those hours, in that set fee in that film or TV program etc.

I don’t approve of my child having his email address for anybody to see?
| Neither do we. Being a minor, we recommend that you use your email address or insist that any contact that is made, you are informed about. Also, that is why their email address is not for anyone’s eyes but the corporate client that has requested their resume. |
What rates do children receive?

I don’t think that my child should miss out on school?
| That is your choice and decision if such a job comes up. That would be between you and the Corporate Client. |
Should my child take special classes?
If you feel that would help them then yes.
If not then no. You are in control of their future. |
What hidden costs are there after joining Seemeonline.com.au eg. photography, portfolio?
None. If you choose to get professional photographs taken of your child that is your choice. We do not require this from you.
We do not require any further cost from you. Actually we are making your child’s presence in the creative industries easily available to all in the creative arts.
We provide the professional resume and portfolio for your child, so there is no extra charge there. Actually, we are saving you money because you are not paying managers or agents fees. And you are keeping the fees they charge for yourself. |
There is a chat room, how safe is it?
What should I do if my child is asked to attend an audition, casting, viewing etc?
Go. That is the point. They will need experience to do more of these auditions as they grow into a more competent actor, dancer, singer, musician, model, etc.
If you don’t want to go, don’t. You are in control of their future not Seemeonline. But we highly recommend you go and have a ball!
You should go with them. Anybody going to a casting should always try to take a friend and let somebody know where it is and how long you are there for. |

Any breach of our “Terms and Conditions” results in a cessation or suspension of membership until further notice by Seemeonline.
